Impressing fresh plants into clay is nothing complex. I hope, however, that the refinements I have made to the technique over the years, my use of fine porcelain, subtle glazing and ability to pick out detail, combined with the sensitive treatment of a subject that I love, manages to elevate the work to somewhere special.
